Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Jubjub Korean mobile application (the "App") operated by We Are Somos ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age. If we discover that a user is under 13, we reserve the right to immediately terminate the account.

2. Free and Paid Services

- The App offers free features supported by advertising, as well as paid subscription plans (In-App Subscriptions) that unlock additional features or remove ads.
- Subscription pricing and terms are clearly disclosed on the in-app purchase screen via Google Play or Apple App Store.
- Subscriptions automatically renew on a monthly or annual basis. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Subscriptions can be managed and cancelled directly through your device's app store account settings.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

- All cancellations and refunds for paid subscriptions are subject to the refund policies of Google Play Store and Apple App Store, as applicable.
- We recommend cancelling your active subscription through your app store account before deleting your account, as partial refunds for unused subscription periods are not automatically issued upon account termination.

4. Advertising

The App may display personalized advertisements powered by Google AdMob and other third-party advertising networks. We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from your voluntary participation in third-party promotions or links presented through these ads.

5. User Accounts and Conduct

- You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials (email and password).
- You agree not to impersonate others, infringe intellectual property rights, or engage in any abusive or fraudulent use of the App. Violations may result in account suspension or termination without prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property

- All video content, learning materials, and other content available in the App are protected by copyright and belong to the original rights holders or the Company.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from the App for commercial purposes without explicit written permission.
- The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, network failures) or for data loss resulting from user error.

7. Changes to These Terms

- We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, within the limits permitted by applicable law.
- We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice or email at least 7 days (or 30 days for changes that are unfavorable to users) before they take effect.
- Continued use of the App after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

- These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Republic of Korea.
- Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.
